LEAP GrantLead Elimination Action Project (LEAP) Grant The Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning was awarded a LEAP grant in 2005 by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Under this grant, if property owners meet risk reduction standards then the LEAP program provides free replacement windows.
Who is eligible? - Home owners - Tenants - Landlords
How much money is available? No cash dollars are available; approximately 10 replacement windows are available for each unit accepted in the grant program.
What can I use the money for? Once awarded, the Coalition will develop a scope of work for you. You are responsible to perform the risk reduction work required, then the Coalition will install approximately 10 replacement windows in your home or rental unit.
