Caregivers & Teachers

Childcare Providers and Teachers are critical partners in the fight to eliminate lead poisoning.  This section is designed to provide insight into how you can work primary prevention education into your lessons.  Check back frequently for lesson plans and activities.  Also, be sure to check the Coalition Calendar for upcoming trainings in your area.

The Coalition is licensed by the Office of Childcare Administration to offer a 2.0hr core of knowledge for continued education credits.  The class covers the history of lead, lead hazards, routes of exposure, effects on the body, and primary prevention measures.
